Our Mission

West River Transit (WRT), was organized through a grant application in 1975, establishing us with the Federal Transit Administration and the ND Department of Transportation. Our purpose is to exemplify an innovative rural public transportation program, in a multi-county region adjacent to Bismarck.

 

We are a non-profit with federal/state funding, providing the safest and most economical transit, to all individuals in need of transportation in our county service areas of rural/urban North Dakota.

Our need to cater to a diverse range of individuals, focuses on the highest quality possible in public community transportation. Regardless of disability, race, sex or age, we invite you to explore the opportunities and experiences that our drivers and services  provide daily, weekly and monthly.
