West River Transit is a public transportation system providing origin to destination bus service for all people in the rural area around Bismarck/Mandan. Our goal is to enhance the mobility and accessibility of all residents in the rural communities that West River Transit serves.
Areas we serve include Beulah, Center, Dunn County, Eastern Rural Burleigh County, Grant County, Hebron, McLean County, and New Salem/Almont.
In an effort to continue to provide the best services possible, West River Transit drivers and staff participate in professional development and training opportunities provided by North Dakota Department of Transportation, Dakota Transit Association (DTA), and Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA).
We invite you to take a moment to explore the rich history of how we started, general information about West River Transit, and scheduling and contact information for the different communities. If you have questions after browsing our web site, feel free to contact our main office.
