Who We Serve
West River Transit serves all community members in Beulah, Center, Dunn County, Eastern Rural Burleigh County, Grant County, Hebron, Mclean County, New Salem and Almont. In the past, funding was secured to run the service specifically for senior citizens and persons with disabilities, but the funding has changed and transportation services are now available for everyone in the service areas.
Our Title VI Statement of Non-Discrimination:
“No person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, disability, sex, age or income status, be excluded from participation, be denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination under any program or activity funded whole or in part with federal funds.

Cost to Ride
Fares vary by location. Riders can pay for their trips by paying the driver with cash or check. Transit punch cards are available for daily use and can be purchased from the local driver. For a list of the current fares, click the link below.

Schedule a Ride
To schedule a ride, riders should call the driver in their service area or call (701) 224-1876 or toll free (888) 682-5826. Ride reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
